Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ('Terms') govern your use of cineholm.co.uk and the sale of products to you by Codo Digital Ltd ('we', 'us', or 'our'), of 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX. Please read them carefully before placing an order. By placing an order you agree to these Terms. They should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, Delivery information, and Returns policy. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

1. Using our site

You may use our site only for lawful purposes and must be at least 18 years old to place an order. You are responsible for keeping any account details and the information you provide accurate and up to date.

2. How a contract is formed

Placing an order is an offer to buy. After you order you will receive an acknowledgement that we have received it; this is not acceptance. A binding contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation or dispatch the goods, whichever happens first. If we are unable to accept your order — for example, because an item is out of stock, a pricing error has occurred, or we cannot deliver to your address — we will let you know and will not charge you, or will refund any payment already taken.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and, where applicable, include UK VAT. Delivery is free on UK orders, so the price you see is the price you pay — no delivery charge is added at checkout. We take reasonable care to ensure prices are correct, but if we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered we will contact you to confirm whether you wish to continue at the correct price before processing the order.

Payment is taken through PayPal, which also lets you pay by debit or credit card without a PayPal account. Your payment is processed by PayPal under its own terms; we do not store your full card details. We must receive full payment before goods are dispatched.

4. Delivery

We deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom only. Some locations are outside our carriers' standard service and cannot be accepted at checkout — these include the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, the Scilly Isles, and parts of the Scottish Highlands and Islands. PO boxes and parcel lockers cannot be used as delivery addresses.

Delivery timescales shown on the site are estimates. We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control (see clause 8). Goods are your responsibility once they are delivered to the address you gave us, and ownership passes to you once we have received payment in full.

5. Your right to cancel (consumer cancellation)

If you are a consumer, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you may cancel your order and return the goods for any reason within 14 days of the day you (or someone you nominate) receive them. To cancel, contact us at privacy@cododigital.co.uk with your order details before the 14-day period ends. You then have a further 14 days to return the goods.

You must take reasonable care of the goods while in your possession. We may reduce your refund to reflect any loss in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and function. We will refund the price you paid, including standard delivery, within 14 days of receiving the goods back (or evidence that you have sent them). This cancellation right does not apply to certain goods, such as items made to your specification or sealed goods that are not suitable for return for hygiene reasons once unsealed.

6. Faulty or misdescribed goods

Your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected by these Terms. Goods must be as described, fit for purpose, and of satisfactory quality. If goods are faulty or not as described, you may be entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement. If you think there is a problem, contact us at privacy@cododigital.co.uk and we will explain the next steps.

7. Product information

We take care to describe and show products accurately, but images and descriptions are for guidance and may differ slightly from the item supplied — for example, colours may vary depending on your screen, and packaging may change. Where a product has minor variations this does not mean the goods are faulty.

8. Events outside our control

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where that failure or delay results from events outside our reasonable control, including supplier or carrier disruption, extreme weather, or other circumstances we could not reasonably have foreseen.

9. Our liability

We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud. Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, or for any loss that arises because you used the goods for a commercial purpose — we supply to consumers for domestic and private use.

10. Privacy

We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one published on the site when you placed it. Please check this page for the current version before ordering.

12. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you retain the benefit of any mandatory protections of the law where you live.

If you have any questions about these Terms, please contact Codo Digital Ltd at privacy@cododigital.co.uk, or by post at 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX.
